Defensor’s wiki made me cry so have this.

You should be scared when heavy pede steps approach your hiding place, the very hiding place First Aid placed you in before rushing off to counter the cons, but as the ceiling was removed of the abandoned building you are left face to face with one large bot, who looks so relieved to see you’re still okay.

He says your name so softly, carefully he reaches down, placing a servo to the ground silently asking you to step up. Staring at his arm you realize it’s Blades, you almost question if the bot would let you step over him like this, but you don’t find yourself hesitating. You step into the center of his servo, sitting down as he begins to slowly raise you up, smile on his face plate.

“You’re okay! I was so worried the cons had found you, I’m so happy.”

He sounds adorable to you. In all your time with they autobots you don’t think you’ve ever met him, you know he’s a combination of your friends but in his way his own thinking mech, it’s so odd to think about but how can you when he’s looking at you like you hung the moon and stars for him?

He stands up straighter letting the building’s roof go, the rumbling shaking you, you hold on tightly to one of his much larger digits for safety but he is quick to coo at you, bringing his now freed servo to your other side to cup around you for extra security.

“Don’t worry, nothing will hurt you so long as I am still standing.” 

You get the feeling such a sweet mech is completely different on the battlefield, to know the very servos that hold you so lovingly have likely spilt energon just in the name of protecting your planet, you feel special. A fleeting thought of why the team hasn’t split apart comes to mind, though swiftly out of the window when he lifts you higher, careful to set you on his shoulder. His engine(s) purring at the press of your much smaller softer cheek nuzzling against his neck cables.

“Thank you, I know I won’t have to worry about anything with you around, big guy!”

His bright blue optics practically sparkle, widening a fraction but his smile stretches across his face, cheeks dusting a soft blue, barely able to contain his excitement and joy. If there was one thing the protectobots could agree on it was you, the team usually arguing who gets to hang out with you first, who gets to have you, but in this form they all get what they want.

Time with you.

The titan of a mech is careful in his steps, walking slow to not jostle you around too much. With the threats gone he doesn’t have to worry about any harm coming to you, he can finally spend time with you even if now that time is fleeting.

The large mech enjoys this, enjoys the small warmth you give off, your pitiful EM field now pressed against the side of his face allowing him to feel your happiness, letting him know how content you truly are just to be with him like this as he walks back to base.

“Defensor?” 

He already knows what you’re going to ask, he can already feel a handful of conflicting feelings in a silent argument about telling you why he doesn’t just unfuse and travel back to the autobot base that way, true it would be a lot faster, but who would you ride with?

But he smiles at you, stopping just shy of the base as he gently takes you off his shoulder, holding you up to his face plate.

“I’m sorry, I just wanted to spend time with you, it’s not often I get to be like this.”

Despite knowing he can’t stay like this forever, he loves that he gets to spend any amount of time he can with you. The large mech blinks as you stand from your spot, stepping to the edge of his servos before he can warn you about safety, you kiss the tip of his Olfactory Sensor, smiling back at the blushing mech.

“I don’t mind, you’re much too sweet to have a rare appearance like this, it’s always nice to see you.”

His frame is overheating at that alone, steam coming from his helm as he tries to carefully but quickly set you down. Once to the ground you speak once more.

“I hope that’s not starting an argument.” You laugh, it only dies down when you see the apologetic look on his face plate, you let out a loud sigh, “yeah, I should’ve guessed. Proceed.”

You are not at all surprised for him to unfuse, though are surprised when Blades comes in swinging forgetting you are right there to hear him shouting.

“If you cowards aren’t gonna do it, I will!” Just to be marching his way to you, and then tackled by the rest of the team.

Hot Spot covering the flight bot’s intake while the others are all yelling over each other about ... .the kiss you gave defensor? Well, these are your bots, might as well give them all a little smooch to clear it up.

Thinking about a reality TV series that has humans partnered with the Protectobots or Reacue Bots, or really any of the Autobots that turn into public service vehicles

I'm thinking along the lines of like the observational/ride-along interview style like Cops or Nightwatch.

Like they're doing criminal chases on dangerous individuals, critical medical transports, or high stake rescue missions in different parts of the world. The emergencies they respond to could also involve other Cybertronians so it could really showcase their teamwork and how each species can care for the other. And it could partially demonstrate the Cybertronian side of emergency services, and the bots themselves could even explain a bit of how they operated on Cybertron in comparison to Earth.

And having special crossover episodes with other Autobot emergency vehicles as special guests or with huge catastrophes that require Defensor and coordinating with several other Autobots outside of emergency services.

If Transformers were a real part of our society that would be such a cool thing to watch on TV, but it'd still be really neat even as a totally ficticious adult series or comic line or something.

streetwise made his account first to better understand human culture and just unwittingly dragged everyone else with him. groove posts photos of his drives and random musings he gets at 3am and has like 20k followers because everyone thinks hes just one of those aesthetic accounts. hot spot has a default @ like a dad. streetwise has no clue if hes messing with him or not by keeping it that way but every now and then he sees @.HotSpot9867090 with no freaking pfp in his notifications and it makes him hate his life. blades’ account gets suspended maybe about a month into having created the thing. first aid keeps giving out unsolicited medical advice. they make an account for defensor because hes sad his humans are scared of him and he has his location set to “home, earth”

I've seen fics on ao3 and other places where they try to connect g1 Blades lore with RB Blades character, honestly i think it's super cool that they decided to give Blades his brothers back (most fics they're referred to as siblings, don't come at me) and his overall g1 essence!!

I've been wanting to include that aspect on some stuff I've been working on, but damn, it was going to be difficult explaining how the asshole and violent g1 Blades became the kind and gentle rescue bot; and then i remembered when i used to watch DBZ that Goku as a child was a little shit and a pain in the ass to grandpa Gohan, and the day he fell and hit his head hard, he became gentle and loving. Maybe this can also help someone out there that also wants to give this a try for their fanfics!

So in this context, Blades back on Cybertron on a mission with his brothers ends up falling to the void until he finally slams his helm really hard and loses consciousness. He wakes up but doesn't know where he is and just walks with no direction till he finds a rescue bot recruit center there, hoping they'd help him out.

Does he remember being part of the protectobots? Not entirely, he knows he has brothers, they're a gestalt, but his memories are blurry and he's quite a different bot at that point, doesn't even recall their names.

What he does remember is the awful falling sensation, maybe that's where he gets his fear of heights.

His brothers on the other hand, looked for him endlessly, but to no avail. They assumed he died.

Transformers Wings of Fire Art based off of a unused Transformers 2007 Poster

I have not drawn anything for this AU in awhile so when I saw the poster art based off the arrival to earth scene I just had to redraw it. Also I redesigned Hotspot’s arms to show more of his vehicle mode, plus he has more shiny lights now. The lighting was definitely the biggest challenge and took the longest, but I’m proud of how it turned out.

For those who don’t know, aside from Optimus and a few other popular Autobots, Hotspot and the Protectobots will be the main Autobot characters in this AU since they are assigned to guard Jade Winglet (mostly Moonwatcher) while the rest of the Autobots search for relics, the Allspark, and a way back to their own universe.

BTW, The dragon in the picture is supposed to be a dragonet, in case anyone is wondering why it is so small.

Chaotic police car go brrrr

I finally finished my design for Streetwise for my Transformers Wings of Fire crossover. His alt mode is a Ford Taurus with a brush guard so that I could have the g1 aesthetic and still have my own touch to the vehicle design. I tried to stay true to his original robot mode design with a more realistic approach plus a few fun details like his waist design. The gun is based off of the Combiner Wars toy, it gives off a shotgun vibe which kinda fits his personality.

Streetwise is second in command of the protectobots underneath Hotspots leadership. His team is tasked with protecting a certain popular group of dragonets. Even though he’s a bit chaotic at times and a powerful warrior in the battlefield, he ultimately just wants to protect his friends.

hi!! i know you're headshot requests aren't open currently, but I just recently bought your Combaticon and Stunticon headshot stickers (excited for them to arrive, they haven't yet) but I was wondering if you'd do and make stickers of the Constructicons, Protectobots and Aerialbots?

i'd adore some stickers of my green and purple brilliant boys and the Protectobots especially... (the merch for combiner teams is non existant and I am SUFFERING)

i included powerglide w/ the aerialbots bc i know hes sometimes there and also. i love him. i've actually completed the constructicons, but i wont post until i've made stickers of them hehe- waiting on supplies to arrive.

i really struggled finding consistent designs for some of them, with the aerial bots i went for the fansly toy head references because i LOVEE that line and they're so solid and stick to the g1 look
